School Story
I received a Master’s Degree in Art History from Oberlin in 1975, and then worked in the Press and Cultural Affairs Department of Greek diplomatic offices in Washington, DC, New York and Boston for twenty years. I then trained as a psychoanalytic psychotherapist, and have a private practice working with adult patients in Cambridge, MA. Many of my patients come from diverse international and cultural backgrounds, and have a special interest in the arts and humanities. I met my husband, Mark Strecker (Class of ‘73), soon after I arrived on campus from Athens, Greece, in September 2072, and we have been together ever since. Mark is a Adult, Adolescent and Child Psychiatrist, and we have a joint private practice in the Boston area.
